schedule events in nw5 ?

Hello

1. Is there any other way of scheduling things in nw5.1 besides cron ?

2. If cron.nlm is loaded on a nw5.1 server, should I be able to se that in Monitor/Loaded modules ?

There is a scheduled option in Portal Services. providing your server is running Portal Services, type in either the DNS name or IP Address into an Internet Browser and click on the LOGIN button to login into Portal Services. Under the heading "Server Management", there is the option called "Scheduled Console Commands". I have not used it so don't know if it infact uses CRON or not.
