I have set up an Access database which includes linked tables for a separate non-access database. I've created a macro which calls two make table queries on these linked tables which I want to schedule in Windows scheduler. So far the only way I have found which even begins to work is to create a shortcut to the macro and schedule that. This has led to two problems:
When the macro kicks off a dialogue box opens asking if I'm sure I want to create the table. I want to bypass this as the whole point is to schedule when I'm not here to click 'yes'. How do I do this?
The external database is password protected. How do I include my logon details in the scheduling?
Thanks for your help.
