I have setup users work hours to be 9-6 mon-fri. Now CRM will not schedule a service that is longer than 8 hours as it cannot fit contiguously in an user's calendar. I have jobs that last >10 hours, and I would like CRM to fit these in an user's calendar non-contiguously (skipping weekends, etc).

Is setting this up with out-of-the-box CRM possible? Do I need add-ons, which ones?

No this is not possible out of the box. It sounds like you need something to intercept the task creation and create multiples ie if you schedule 16 hours it will create two jobs one for each day

There is a service 10 hours duration and the users have 8 work hours/day. If I try to schedule a service appointment for that users, CRM wont find any available time, because no user has 10 consecutive hours. It would be better off scheduling 8hours, skip night time, and then schedule more 2hours...everything at the same service appointment.

How can I do that?
