Schdeuling to Unmanaged Diskspace

Hi All,

I'm having problems scheduling reports to mapped drives. Reports schduled to the local drive schedule no problem. When i try to schedule to a mpaped drive by using the N:\folder\folder or \\Server\folder\folder i keep getting the "A device attached to the system is not functioning." error message, any ideas?

Have a look at Configuring NTFS Permissions in the CMC help. The server account may be the culprit. There is also a limitation to local drives somewhere in CE, but I can't put my finger on where it is.

Check to see what Windows account your CE services are running under LOCAL_SYSTEM or AD\USER_ACCOUNT. If you are running under a LOCAL_SYSTEM account, you should change to an AD\USER_ACCOUNT account that has access to network. On CE server put this account in Admin Group and then Change CE services to run under this AD account. Then this AD account, which all your CE services are running under, will need read/write permission to destination directory you are trying to write the report to.
