Hi Everyone, We are shutting down an existing Avaya at another site and moving the DID to our head office. When attempting to create the 500 using the current DID we are getting SCH3300.

I suspect that the extension 1636 is programming somewhere in the AC1/2. How can I confirm this? And more importantly what options do I have available to make this DID work on our switch?

Here is an LUDN which I have only pasted the beginning. Notice 1xxx is not a programable option as available DID's are starting at 2xxx.

what's the impact of changing the spree code? What is the procedure to do this?

Cheers...

The solution is to change the SFP (SPRE) to another, four digit number. You could make it 1111 for example.

Here is the list of things performed with an SFP (SPRE):
You can create FFCs to make feature codes whatever you want.

The SPRE is print in LD 21

REQ PRT
TYPE FTR

and changed in LD 15

REQ CHG
TYPE FTR

no biggie, as long as you know it, where to print it. I use it with but sets to forward/un forward fax machines -dial tone # 1 xxxx - just fyi

anyway
ld 15
chg
FTR_Data

when you get to

SPRE xx

enter a new one, I prefer a 3 or 4 digit one but two is fine like 88 or something, but why chew up a whole range?

prt in ld 21 prt CDB or FTR_Data

You could have submitted this idea:

If changing the SPRE isn't feasible, you can create an Incoming Digit Conversion table so that when 1636 is received on the trunks, it is converted to another number outside of the 1000's range.

PS: #1 for Call Forward isn't consider use of SPRE

[tt]
The following codes do not require the [SPRE]

# + 1 + DN Call Forward
# + 2 + Speed Call code + DN Speed Call, Individual, To Program Entry
# + 2 + Speed Call code + * Speed Call, Individual, To Erase Entry
# + 3 + Speed Call code Speed Call, Individual, To Use Entry
# + 4 Permanent Hold
[/tt]
