I'm getting this code when trying to change the SPCL in LD 15 under FFC data from 4 digits to 5 digits. The last sentence of this is what concerns me. What is it saying?
SCH8885 Warning: The active password length is changed only if new configuration data
is dumped, and a complete data load and program load takes place.

you gotta reboot to have take effect. so don't bother changing util you are ready to reboot the system.

oh, and don't forget to EDD after the change and before the reload (like it says in the message)
