I am trying to delete a Desktop user but keep getting an error message:
"Failed to Delete Desktop Security Server Error.
Please, contact your administrator"
Everything associated with this agent profile has been removed (agents, skillset etc.) When the technician originally built this profile, he took an existing user and renamed the agent but used the existing Desktop login, creating a conflict.
Does anyone have a remedy for this?
 
This is not the admin user or custadmin user or supervisor user profile, by any chance? The one(s) that come default in the Symposium or Symposium Express?
 
Also, are there any scheduled reports or agent-skillset or agent-supervisor assignments that were created under that profile?
 
That was the missing link. I reviewed the Scheduler, located the reports, deleted them and I was able to delete the agent profile.
