SCCS 5.0 FEATURE PACK 1

Can someone please clarify what in fact feature pack 1 actually is. I was told by my Nortel rep that the feature pack 1 upgrade kit includes:

Revision 4 of the server CD + SU04S + SUS0401S + SUS0402S + SUS0403S, as well as SWC 4.5 SU04

I installed the original SCCS 5.0 on the Win2000 server and downloaded SU04S + SUS0401,02,03S from the PEP library and installed them. I also have SWC 4.5 with SU04 installed on a different Win2000 server. Does this mean I already have feature pack 1? The customer wants to use Win 2003 servers instead, which will entail a reload on my part, but I want to make sure I don't need this kit for $1000 each server.

No. The original version of 5.0 doesn't suppport Windows 2003 server. Nortel just didn't have that compatibility completely worked out. Feature Pack 1 is really an updated version of the 5.0 application that does support Windows 2003. The same SU04 and peps 401, 402 and 403 go on either version. Keep in mind also that you will not be able to just update the O/S; per the NTP, you will need to back up your database, completely reformat and reload the machine w/2003, then reinstall Symposium and import your database..
