Hi All,
I did a Symposium migration from SCCS 4.0 to SCCS 4.2. Everything was smooth : Database restore was done, Database integrity check was okay, Server Setup Configuration was successful.
When I rebooted the SCCS for the first time, all the services are up. Everything looks normal, except that 5 minutes after reboot, the CPU Usage went up almost 100%. I checked the Task Manager and the culprit was the sqlsvr.exe process.
I leaved the SCCS overnight. The next morning I found out that the sqlsvr.exe CPU time is about 2 hours. After which, the CPU usage went normal again (<10%).
This is the first time I did a SCCS migration, so I do not know what to expect. However, I suspect that the sqlsvr.exe was doing table conversion from the existing SCCS 4.0 database to SCCS 4.2 database.
For those who have done the migration, is this normal?
