sccs 4.0 and succession 3

can sccs 4.0 work with succession 3? does anybody have documents supporting this?

I have a succession 3 swith with 4.2 right now, so I know that works. I seem to recall a technician mentioning that succession 3 required 4.2 or higher, but someone else will need to confirm that.

draxis, i have found a document that tells sccs should be on rls 4.2 minimum. though i will try to connect succession 3.0 and sccs 4.0 on my lab and see if this work.

We've got 4.0 and recently upgraded to Succession 3.0 - be it co-incidence or what (our inept maintainers are still investigating), but we have loads of problems, especially with the Aquiring issue. Non-aquired phone sets can't be outed, ACD sets can't be aquired, CDN's aquire themselves randomly....touch of corruption

We're got SCCS 4.02.06 here, Succession 3.0 with few problems. Getting some extra info via our 3rd Party app which causes errors, however nothing wrong with SCCS.

Note -- 4.02.06 is also called 4.2. 4.01.07 is also known as 4.0. Two different releases, 4.2 being the newer (5.0 being the current release).

Release 4.0 was retired in April 2004 and will no longer be supported as of December 2004.

Release 4.2 will be retired in November 2005 and not supported after May 2006.
