I'm trying to deploy Win10 with BitLocker to Dell laptops/desktops using SCCM2012 but everytime they restart they ask for the Recovery Password.

A shortened version of the task sequence is below:
[ul]
[li]Restart in WinPE[/li]
[li]Format & Partition Disk[/li]
[li]Add registry key to enable AES256[/li]
[li]Pre-provision BitLocker[/li]
[li]Apply Operating System[/li]
[li]Set computer name, apply drivers, restart[/li]
[li]Clear TPM (using PowerShell script found online)[/li]
[li]Restart[/li]
[/ul]
I've tried various combinations but on every reboot it asks for the Recovery Password. I've seen various posts online but none mention this or how to resolve it - they all just say pre-provision, install Windows and it works.

Anyone successfully deployed Win10 with BitLocker using SCCM2012 and have a working task sequence?

I found that the issues was to do with Legacy/UEFI and TPM 1.2/2.0.

In short, when using Legacy boot you must use TPM 1.2 and when using UEFI you must use TPM 2.0. I was using Legacy boot but TPM was 2.0. Downgrading TPM to 1.2 resolved the issue but also changing to UEFI and usin TPM 2.0 resolved it.

The 'Clear TPM' task is also not needed.
