Scanning with Photoshop

Just acquired PS 7.0.1 and Scansoft scanner. Scanner driver installed just fine, however, when I go to scan with PS, the window opens but there is nothing to activate the scanner. Do I need a Plug-in for PShop to scan and where would I find one? Thank you.

You need the TWAIN driver. Should be able to find it on the manufacturers website.
