Hi All,

I'm working on an image database using access. The image files are stored externally but the database is used to classify and record secondary information.

As part of the project we want to work on images stored in a 'hot folder' using an Access form. Whilst working additional images may added to this folder.

Is it possible for Access to be notified of any additions to this folder so the form can be refreshed automatically.

Many Thanks

Pete

It is possible but non-trivial. See strongm's post at the bottom of thread222-719707.

His example is VB6, not Access so some adjustments will be in order.
