Scanning for Plug-ins... Illustrator.exe FREEZE

*Running Illustrator 10.0 Build 76
*Runs through beginning flash screen
*STOPS when it says Scanning for Plug-ins... Illustrator.exe
Anyone have any ideas???

It's weird but if you launch photoshop when it does that you can get it finish loading. I have to make a habit of launching PS first everyday. BEHOLD! As Steve Jobs introduces us the latest in desk-lamp technology!
