Hi all...does anyone have any experience creating an application which uses an Access front-end to manage scanned documents? i.e. our finance department wants to start scanning all of their bills, reports, etc. and we have been tasked with creating an Access-based application as the front-end. The data (scans) can reside on a network drive or in SQL-server, etc.

Has anyone been down this road before? Have any suggestions, ideas? Thanks, Codeninja

We use a product called ImageWeb/File Net. It has a web front end, and I built a MS Access front end since there were limitations on volume via the front end that comes with the tool.. htwh
