Scanner scans mainly red instead of RGB 1

Hello,

I have an epson scanner that was working fine, non of the settings had been changed since I installed it on my computer and have been using it all afternoon.

I am on a Windows 2000 machine, have Admin rights. No one else has used this computer.

Any ideas?

1st off... is it a single lamp scanner? or multiple lamps.. also.. check in device Mgr to see if it is registered properly and that there are no error flags. Check to make sure cables are seated properly also and that there are no kinks in the cable.if all of these check out then the best thing I can recommend is to remove the device from within the hardware MGR, unplug device from comp... reboot and load windows to insure its not trying to reinstall any drivers.. then shut down.. hook scanner back up and go through the full add new hardware wizard. You should also make sure you have the most current drivers handy when you do go to re-install the device. Good luck with your scanner. Responding helps us all to learn a bit more
