Scanner not recognized then suddenly recognized

Hi all,

I have a problem with a Win2k machine connected to an Imacon scanner. The scanner will not be detected at all and the imaging program will default to a camera but after being left on for a while and then rebooted the machine will suddenly pick up the scanner again. It has the latest Imacon drivers and the OS is running SP3 and hotfixes.

Has anyone encountered this type of problem before? Thanks for your help.
