Scanner not found in xp

Hi,

I have an acer acerscan prisa p610 scanner. After installing the drivers for it, I have tried to use the scanner in XP, but the scanner 'was not founded.' I have tried but was unsuccessful in trying to find new drivers from the scanner. I am wondering if anyone has or know where to get the drivers for it.

How is it connected to the PC?

i have a scsi umax and if it's not on when the computer boots, i need to turn it on, then go to the add hardware wizard and manually add it before it'll work. but if it's on before XP boots up, there's no problem. maybe that'll work for you.

Is it safe to assume that this is a 610P and not a P610? If so, the latest drivers should be available at

http://www.benq.com/drivers/imaging_drivers.html#flatbed
