Hi all.

I was wondering if it was possible, in GW 6 (or any version for that matter), to include a scanned image of a signature in the body of the message?

If so, any hints on how to best do it? If not, any work-arounds? I tried cutting/pasting an image loaded into Word, but could only get the "paste" funtion to work on text based material not any graphical.

TIA for any thoughts, answers and suggestions!

Mark

Hi Mark -

Have your staff/employee create his/her signature, and save the scanned image as a *.gif file. (sallysignature.gif) - you could go with a *.jpeg also.

Create the email using the HTML view/options, and have him/her insert their signature as an image (I assume it will be near the end of the email). They may have to hit enter a few times, and use the align option to get it positioned where they would like it, but it seems like that should work just fine.

Then, remember to have them redo their normal GroupWise text signature, and remove their name -- but leave address, title, phone, etc....
That way, once it's received, the person will see a very fancy signature from "Sally", and all her professional/contact information as well. Or, if "Sally" writes like a doctor, you may just want to keep her name in there.

Good Luck - and let us know if that works. I personally haven't tried it that way. I may just run that by some of my staff tomorrow. :)
