Can someone please tell me why I obtain separated colors when scanning? And how to solve this problem?
I am scanning a magazine page, reason why I'm using the "Descreen" feature in FotoLook 3.6 (PC). This program came with my 8 years old Agfa StudioScan scanner ;)

I uploaded a page with 2 samples of this here:

There is some more info there too.

Thanks in advance,

JavierDL

Well, it's a Scanner problem, not a [b/Photoshop problem[/b].

I would suggest cleaning the scanner mirrors, or not bumping the scanner when it's scanning, or change the settings in Fotolook and see if that fixes the problem, change descreen settings, scan it without descreen....

i agree with Marcus... sounds like your scanner is knackered!

Kind Regards
