Hello! I hope that one of you can help me out with this. Hopefully it's a simple solution and I've overlooked something, but I suppose we'll have to see. I have been searching for months for a simple and easy way to convert paper documents to PDF, and after trying half a dozen programs with no success, someone suggested "Hey, why not just get Adobe Acrobat Professional, after all, they ARE the creators of the file format"...and you know something, they were correct. Finally my scanner feeds through the paper, the pages appear on screen in all their digital glory, and I am given the option to Save As.
But something is awry. On Prescan, the images look correct. I have tried every combination of settings before scanning, but for some reason the images appear on-screen to be inverted (The page itself is black, and the pictures, text, etc. is white) - Almost like a negative image. I'm a novice (Obviously ) so I went through and tried image settings, brightness / contrast, fiddled with this and that, but no change. I also tried manipulating the compression / quality ratio, resolution, you name it. To no avail.
If anyone knows the solution to this problem, I would more than welcome your advise.
Thanks!
- Josh
