Scandisk rears its ugly head again 1

Ages ago, hopefully in this forum, there was a thread about scandisk and how to override it. I have a user (very senior) to has scandisk run every morning. I know why; but she does not want it to run as it tries to do a surface scan which takes a while.<br>

Can some kind hearted soul remind me the syntax to stop it running so she can do her work quicker and then go home so that I can run it manually.<br>
