ScanDisk seems to have disappeared from my Accessories menu. We have a small network, but unfortunately I can't remember if the last time I saw ScanDisk was before we went onto the network or after. Now I can't find it on either of the 3 computers on the network.

Does anyone know how I get it back?

Thanks
Kim

Disk Cleanup should be there (under XP it is no longer called ScanDisk).

you can click My Computer, highlight a disk drive, right-click and select properties. The Disk Cleanup tool is to the bottom right of the disk piechart, or hit Tools for more options.

And see some very easy ways to create and use sagest:

ScanDisk is not an XP utility (it is a 9x program) do you mean Chkdsk?

To run ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right click your Drive icon/ Properties/ Tools/ Error Checking.
