Well I just installed a new scanner and put the new Microtek Scan Wizard software on my G4. The problem is that I have this new icon on the toolbar above the screen. It's there to stay it seems. I wouldn't mind it so much if it weren't for the second problem. My computer constantly beeps in the same way that it does when an error window pops up. Nothing else happens, there is no error winodow or anything so no obvious way to fix it. It just happens all day long, it happens when I'm not even thinking of scanning things. This hasn't affected the functions of my computer but there are several reasons that I don't like this. Oh yeah, when I click on the toolbar icon it gives a dropdown menu with two items, "Find Scanners... and Activate Scanner Buttons." Does someone have medicine for me?
