Scaling how many CPU's needed

Hi,

For Websphere MQ 5.3 and 6, is there a calculation anywhere which states how many CPU's you need for a new box which will have MQ Series on it. It is done on how many persistant and non persistant messages per second its going to have? Or something different.

I've seen a lot of performance docs but no recommendations.

Any help appricated.
