i am a new user of flash. my problem might be a stupid one . but it is bothering me.
i am trying to work on some text, try ing to scale it but the problems arises when the first letter zoom in then it disappear from the stage and the next letter comes and then its zooms and sisappear. i want the first letter not to disapper and the second should come and scale on the stage. i hope i am making myself clear.

Each letter should be tweened on it's own layer, and keep it there on stage when you tween your other letters.

Oh, it might be a good idea to:

1. write all letters as single phrase or word
2. break appart word/phase
3. copy and paste in place for each layer
4. remove the excess letters on each layer

tedious but it guarantees perfect alignment and less hassle with the X - Y formatting.

Of course, some one out there will suggest something simpler and more practical ... In addition, by breaking text appart, will also have the option to morph as well.
