Solomon should've come with the Scalable SQL engine. If you're running the NT version, Solomon was actually the only customer to have gotten the Scalable SQL 3.01 engine.
I don't know of anyone that would still have the old Scalable SQL for NetWare.

We have the NT version and I guess the Disk was lost at some point way before my time here. Is this included on the Solomon CD because we have that just not the dick?

I actually never used Solomon so I don't know how they shipped the product. It's possible that the Solomon CD has the Scalable product on it. You're talking about a product that is many years old.

Hi, I am also using Solomon 2.06 on NW3.12 server. The guy before me had gone and left no manual. I only have the CD. Now, the data files have grown very large, the Intran.dat is 2.1G and the Artran.dat is 1.4G. I did a delete old transitions in Solomon, but after the deletion, the files were actually grow a little bit bigger. I used Access and saw the records were acutally much less than before, for example, the Ardoc.dat only has 2500 record, but the size is still 500MB. How could I shrink these data files? I am afrid they could grow to the limit.
Thank you.
Gary

You could use BUTIL to do a -CLONE and a -COPY. That will reclaim the free space after the delete.
The limit is 4GB.
