After many years, you can see my prior thread on this issue, we have resolved all of the issues in the code and now can successfully run SBT 9.0a on XP and Windows 7.

There were some coding errors that "fell through" on W98 and some issues where FOXSWAP did not run. FOXSWAP is not necessary on XP or W7 as sufficient memory is allocated.

The printing of checks requires an understanding of how the printers are linked to the FOXPRO forms and the use of the NET USE command.

Laserforms works perfect.

I can now bury our W98 systems.

Thanks to the patience of Maureen K who would not give up on the coding issues.

If someone really needs these fixes, we can provide the service for a minimal fee.

When you faced these problems, did you consider moving from 16-bit, VisionPoint 2000 to 32-bit VisionPoint10? This is not something that most VP2000 users will consider because VP10 was dropped by ACCPAC/Sage years ago. But, for those who have customized VP2000 and want to move to a 32-bit Windows system, keep their data and keep their customizations, and mot spend a small fortune on Sage Pro, the VP10 upgrade is a good option.

However, to do this, one must find a legal, used copy of VP10 and port the VP2000 customizations to VP10. It's a bit of a job. But, at the end, you will have your old system running happily on XP or Win7 with native Windows printing of all reports and forms (no more DOS LaserForms).
