SBT 5.0i Inventory

We are a manufacturer of furniture and I am curious as to how we may better use inventory control in SBT. Is it possible to enter every part into inventory that makes up a piece of furniture? Let me see if I can simplify this, if we made cars and we entered every part that a car consists of into inventory, when I entered qty 1 car into a sales order, can SBT tell me I'm going to need 4 tires, 1 engine, etc?

If it is possible, how does everything get linked together?

typically this is done in a bill of material module. I am no SBT expoert, but you must make sure that you own the BOM and Production modules in order to do this. It is possible that you do not own these modules.

You will need the Production Entry For AccPac Pro.
Actually, Lahey's Production Entry because Lahey and Accpac merged around Pro 6.0. (SBT/Accpac 5.O did not have a Production Entry module)
