SBT 5.0i - AR - Enter cash receipt - Pmt on Acct - cannot choose desired G/L Cash Acct

Need to choose acct 11001-000 but it does not appear in select list. If I type it in, I get message: Account does not exist. Account 11001-000 does exist and looks to be set up in G/L the same as other available accounts.
What is preventing me from selecting this account when attempting to post a cash receipt/pmt on acct?

Figured it out: you have to set up the account in AP as a checking account.
