Hi folks,

While I know you can only have one 2003 sbs server per domain can you have:

2 x sbs servers running 2x different domains on 1x physical lan x 1 IP subnet.

Basically one company running sbs have brought over another company running sbs (and their computers) and want to run both domains on the same physical network (long term they'll decomission one) I know they'll be all sorts of e-mail problems, but ignoring that and assuming IP/DNS can be sorted will basic functionality be ok? I know the two domains will be entirely separate entities.

Cheers.

Might want to try posting this in the SBS forum.

I would put a router in between the two networks and subnet them. Keeping them separate. I think you are asking for a nightmare trying to run two SBS domains on the same subnet in the same physical LAN.
