SBS 4.5/Exchange w. POP3 Connector

Hi all,

Just a quick question.

I'm running an SBS 4.5 (SP6a) server along with Exchange (SP2).

Exchange is setup with IMS for SMTP (Outbound) and POP3 Connector for retrieval. Retreiving e-mail works fine, but coming to send it doesn't!!!!

I have setup the IMS with the correct SMTP server for my ISP, but e-mail doesn't get sent. It doesn't bounce back, and it doesn't remain queued - but it never gets to my ISP. It seems to just disappear.

Anyone got any ideas on what's happening, and how to resolve it?

I had a simular problem. I downed the exch. ran isinteg and eseutil then reinstalled sp3 and it was back up and running. I had found that a large corrupt email data had stopped the IMS. GL
