Thanks in advance to take the time to read this, for any help or comments.

Does anybody know what SPECIFIC files in the WINNT.SBS\COMMAND\SPOOL directory that I should have for permissions in order for my users to print to a Jetdirect Port? For all users EXCEPT administrators, I will get an error message something like 'INVALID PORT...'. The only remedy that I have is to give everybody administrator access to the machine which obviously isn't a good idea. There is a FAQ on Microsoft's website saying to give 'CHANGE' rights to this directory which I've done but didn't help. I think I need to be more specific to the files that are associated with HP's Jetdirect. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but this didn't help either.

Thanks,

TCWINONT.

Try using a HP standard TCP/IP port driver instead of M$ own driver. In some cases clients won´t get access if M$ standard TCP/IP driver is used.
