I have a client who is running SBS 2008. They are having a SharePoint site built and do not want to use the SharePoint built into the SBS. Another server is being setup to run SharePoint. The big issue I have is that I need port 443 going to the SBS server for Outlook Web Access and Exchange Active Sync. Is there a way to configure IIS to host the web interface on the SBS server for this new SharePoint site, while the database is on a different server?
Please understand that beyond Exchange items, I have done little with IIS (guess where my next study item is).
