hey there!
i got a little problem, i know that printer unter user/rules/deployedprinters with the deployed option do make troubles, user login is slow, sometimes the printers doesnt work or the settings dialogs takes forever, now i want to change it to
user/settings/system settings/printers...
i already did that on some, but what exactly happens when i change this setting from deployed to the other option
i use the setting replace and in users context. what if i have the printer in both options ?
and what if i have it in the second option and delete it in the first ... at deployed ... will the printer be deleted and then reinstalled at the next login of the user or does nothing happen.
or do i have to remove it first somehow and then set the second option ?
a second thing is i had a printer in the second option as
\\servername\printername1 and the client got this printer...
i changed this to \\servername.domain.local\printername1 and now the user has 2 printers, how can i change this setting without having the problem of geting a second entry ? i mean its the same entry, is it because of the option replace?
