Hi all,

i'm new to dealing with servers, and did a rather stupid thing. we've got a HP ML150 loaded with Windows SBS 2003. it was shutdown by the power being turned off rather than shutting it down properly.

now it hangs on the screen showing "Windows loading". attempting to reboot the unit into the recovery console gives the output that there may be a virus or a problem with the harddrives.

has anyone had any experience with this sort of problem?

thanks in advance,

nick

another thing to note;

this hasn't been used or configured yet, it was waiting to be configured (by someone far more knowledgable than me), so we're not worried by data loss in the slightest.
