Ok, i have the most weird issue.
I had a sbs2003 server running now for over 1 year without any real issues. Last weekend i decided to reinstall the server completely. All went ok, no issues whatever during the setup but now i am really stuck with the following problem.
The internal modem doesn't auto-answer to fax-calls anymore.
No matter what i do (i actually bought a new modem today just to rule out HW issues) i can't get the modem to auto-answer to fax-calls anymore.
The line is OK because when i attach a "old" fax-machine it picks up without any issues.
When i set the modem (via de fax-management console) to manual receive it also works.
Does anybody have some idea what might be causing this issue?
