sbs 2003 exchange issue

Hi all i have the above products and the client has three external IP addresses that send smtp email , but it constantly gets blocked and does not appear in the spam folder and ideas on where to start with getting the permissions allowed to allow these external ip to input mail.

any help would be much appriciated.

Are you receiving amy mail even if it's going into the junk folder?

If not Have a look in the exchange message delivery properties and check the global accept/deny settings.

Also check the intelligent message filtering in the delivery properties and see what value is set for the gateway blocking, it may be set very low.

If none of that works you need to check if your IP address is blacklisted and that you can actually receive mail so are your MX records set correctly, the smtp port is not blocked at the firewall etc.
