Hi, we just got a server installed at work. The company that installed it left me in charge of it without showing me much. I have quite a bit of computer knowledge and have been able to resolve a lot of the issues myself, with the help of searching online. I am really stuck on this one involving our companyweb.
I can access but when I click the link for Company Web is unavailable. After searching for days on the internet for a resolution I found that I can access our company web by entering
Here is where the issue lies. Before I even set up any users besides my self (administrator) you could access the company web from any computer and gain full access to the site settings. After you visited the site from lest say Warehouse, in the site users, Warehouse was automatically added as a user. I set up all the users that have permission to use the site. Still, any user can access the site settings and make changes to whatever they like. Even, if you are remotly logged into the server with a username that has read only permission for company web, you can still access the site settings and make changes.
I have searched high and low for a wrong setting that is allowing this. I cannot find anything. Any input would be highly appriciated, beacause I am tearing my hair out here. Thanks in advance.
