sbc swap in NAM

Can I replace the SBC in a NAM 2G or is there some kind of serialization that links it to the NAM and/or the hard drive?

serial number will change and you will also lose all your capabilities.

The SBC can be replaced without losing keycodes.
Or the MS-BIC can be transferred to another NAM.
Simply replacing the MS-BIC will cause booting problems.

To replace an MS-BIC in an existing NAM you must first delete the sekur file. Then reboot and the NAM will build a new sekur file.
You should be able to do a capabilities restore once the reboot rebuild the sekur file.

thanks for the replies. Do I delete the sekur file in OS2 or in some f915 menue?

Look for access2 directory

once you replace the SBC board it will automatically erase your capability file.
