Hi all, I have installed a SBC 8.1 along wit the new SIP trunk configuration. SBC also integrated with Session/SMGR. The SBC and SIPT trunk calls working quite well. But in Device TAB when i check the Server status it show "UNKNOWN" in the registration status column. The Heartbeat column shows OK. Why is that if the SBC and SIP trunks working OK?


There is no such thing as a free LUNCH.
 
The register isn’t probably done from the SBCE but from the IP Office. Or you have a peer-to-peer trunk without registration.

I think that won’t change unless you register the trunk from the SBCE. What you could do is sent options pings from the SBCE to the SIP provider. (Normally, I leave that up to the IPO or Aura CM) but then the SBCE will show that the trunk is UP.
