Hi

Can anyone suggest any SBC for remote working (IX Workplace / J169 phones)

Thanks

Only an Avaya SBCE can do that.

But what you can so is setup a VPN to the home workers.

It works with other SBCs as well, but if you're not already using a specific brand you know works you might as well go with Avayas since there's documentation on how to configure it for that purpose.

It does 'work' with Audio Codes, as that also has the NGINX HTTP Proxy.

All was fine until Apple Push. Still fixing the last couple of issues there.

Audio Codes support Hyper-V and MS Teams, with a much more realistic server reasource. 2 CPU, 2GB RAM, 10 GB Disk, rather than 4 CPU, 8GB RAM, 160GB Disk. Absolutley no idea why Avaya do this. I've asked and they ignore the question!!!

Hi

Great thanks, does the Avaya SBC require 2 external IPs? one for SIP trunks and the other for remote working (IX Workplace/remote IP Phones)?

I can remember someone saying it needed two, one for SIP, other for remote workers.

Thanks
