SB4200 Motorola Surfboard Modem problem

Hi all,
I'm having a problem where my modem stopped working. I have a Motorola SB4200 Surfboard and have never had any problems previously. Perhaps its not the modem at all. It appears that it is having a problem detecting the signal. The Receive light is green, but the Send light is blinking green, and the Online light is not on. I've tried restarting the PC, unplugging the modem. Anyone have any other ideas? It just randomly stopped working the other day. If anyone has any ideas, they'd be greatly appreciated.

Hi !

I also use the Motorola SB4200 cable modem and i
also have problems occasionally.
What i have done is unplugged for and hour or so
and let sit, call my internet provider to see if there
is any problem on their end and then they reset my config.
on their end and it seems to work.

Are you on a network, and if so are you using a router
with a built in firewall? Sometimes the router has to be
reset to allow the signal to go through again.

Finally, you can e-mail Motorola tech dept and they
should be able to walk you through and problems.
