Saving XML Packets To XML File

I have an application that nneds to save an XML Packet back to an XML file. I can send the packet to the asp.net we service but do not then know the code to save the packet back to an XML file.

Anyone know how to save an XML packet to an XML file in asp.net(prefer using vb if required).

Tutorials or help would be great

I can fined loads of PHP options that say asp.net is just as easy but cant fined any examples. Home somone can help please

If you have an existing XML document you want to save an additional fragment to, then the easiest way is to use an XmlDocument:

If you're creating a new XML document from scratch, you can use an XmlTextWriter for better performance:
