Hi ,
Ive developed a fax application - checks a folder in outlook and then sends the attachment as a fax... Everything works fine but when i use the converter(kdimageeditor) the word document looks all scrabled and the text is very small... I need to get the word doc to be saved a a tiff file which will keep the format and layout ,or at least 90% of it.... Anyone with a idea , please let me know

I typed "doc tiff conversion" into Google and there are loads of stand alone utilities to convert .DOC's to .TIFF's. Some of them are free and some work as printer drivers which should (therefore) be drivable from Visual Basic (although I have not tried it).

As you say, its just an idea. Good luck

I went thru 20 pages on google and couldnt find one free one - than you in any case

If you have Microsoft Office 2003, you can use the Microsoft Office Document Image Writer print driver. This is a component of the Microsoft Office 2003 Document Imaging program and can be installed with your Office program.

Cheers
