I use Corel X3.When i work on a vector image and want to save it, i create it into a pdf. when I want to bring up an image i import the pdf. ungroup image, then select what i want. the pdf is better then exporting to eps. to tell if it works, after u import change view to wireframe. if u see an outline of image it worked.
