I have Crystal Reports 9 and have created a test report, an application performance report with a graph. I've imported it into SCCS using the software client (not the web client) but when I go to open the report I get the following error:

NICRPTOM.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.

I thought maybe I had done something wrong with the report since I've never worked with Crystal. I then just opened one of the standard reports (making no changes), named it something different, saved it and then imported it into Symposium. I got the exact same error as before, so I wonder if Symposium doesn't like Crystal Reports version 9? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

If I am not mistaken, Symposium is compatible with Crystal Reports version 8.0 or lower, if you are running SCCS 4.2. If you look in your user guide where it lists how to create custom reports, it should tell you which version is supported. You should be able to save the report as an earlier version in CR 9.0 too.

Crystal 9 reports cannot be used in SCCS 4.2 or lower versions. you should have CR 8.5 or lower....
