How do you add to or build up your sound storage files within the Flash Library----not the 'library' that originates with your .fla document or movie, but the Main library of sounds?

I've tried everything I can think of, but I can only get images to import into the movie independent of the built-in library.

There's GOT to be a way!

Do you mean the equivalent of a copy and paste approach to inserting sound? If you rephrase your question, I'll probably be able to answer it.

I just meant how does one import NEW sounds into the preexistent, came-with-the-software sound library
within Flash?

I can get them into 'new' movie libraries, but I don't know how to capture and retain them in the 'main' library. I can't believe that Macromedia didn't build a way to do this into the program, or for that matter, that they 'gave' us such a handful of mediocre sounds to work with.
