I am currently working on a project in VFP6, and I would to know how do save a record using a form, and also set up the form to accept another new record.

Thanks.

Yes, the ControlSources on the textboxes are linked to a table, but I'm not sure about the buffering part. Please advise.

If the ControlSources are bound to table fields and buffering is not in effect, you don't need to do anything to save the record - its automatic.

If there is buffering, you'll need to issue a TABLEUPDATE(). Robert Bradley

VFP report designer gives only one format of a report (i.e. in columns with summaries, etc.) My problem is I need to have multi-format report wherein half page of the output is on a different format than the other half. Pls help

This really should be a new thread, as it has nothing to do with what was been discussed.

While this can be done using "creative" techniques and temporary cursors (I've seen some pretty amazing examples), you may want to consider a third party product. Crystal Reports (supports "sub-reports"), automating Word, or even using the Access report writer (which also supports sub-reports).
