I make up the weekly parish six-page bulletin in Publisher 2010, as that is what the printer requires.
I often need refer back to a previous issue for something, but unlike other programs, .pub files are not searchable using the Windows "Search" function. Saving to another format should be the obvious solution, using "Save As," which should save the document text to either a .doc, .docx, .rtf, or .txt file.
Saving it to the first three formats only saves the table on page six. Saving to .txt saves the text but the order is so jumbled it is almost unusable. Am I missing something here or is this just another one one of Publisher's quirks?
